About
Natalie Dreyfoos, DNP
Clinic Founder & Owner, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Welcome -
I’m Dr. Natalie Dreyfoos, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with prescriptive authority. My work is shaped by more than a decade in healthcare, with deep roots in both medical oncology and psychiatry.
Before founding Dockside Psychiatry Clinic, I spent six years in inpatient care at Overlake Hospital Medical Center, working as both a medical oncology nurse and a psychiatric nurse. These experiences grounded my approach to care in patient advocacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and respect for the complex ways physical illness and emotional distress intersect.
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Seattle University, where I was recognized as a Jonas Scholar for my commitment to advancing psychiatric nursing and strengthening collaboration between psychiatry and primary care. This training continues to inform my emphasis on thoughtful diagnosis, shared decision-making, and whole-person care.
My advanced practice career began in child and adolescent psychiatry, where I provided comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and family-centered support in private practice. I later transitioned into psycho-oncology at Fred Hutch Cancer Center, serving as a consult-liaison psychiatric nurse practitioner for patients and families across the cancer continuum. This work deepened my commitment to supporting individuals navigating complex medical experiences alongside mental health concerns—a focus that remains central to my practice today.
At Dockside Psychiatry, I care for adolescents and adults with a wide range of psychiatric concerns, including anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and the psychological impact of cancer and medical illness. I see patients in Seattle and Duvall and offer an individualized, compassionate approach designed to help you feel understood, supported, and actively engaged in your care.
I value open communication and invite questions throughout the treatment process. My goal is for you to feel informed, respected, and empowered as we work together toward healing, meaning, and growth.
Warmly,
Dr. Natalie Dreyfoos
Anna Sears, DNP
Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Hello -
I’m Dr. Anna Sears, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Before my career as a nurse practitioner, I spent six years working as a registered nurse on an inpatient oncology unit at University of Washington Medical Center. In this role, I cared for individuals facing new cancer diagnoses, medical complications, and end-of-life concerns. This experience shaped my approach to care, reinforcing the importance of addressing both physical and emotional well-being in a holistic, compassionate way.
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Seattle University and went on to complete the University of Washington Advanced Practice Psychiatric Provider Fellowship. Through this fellowship, I gained broad clinical experience across inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, emergency psychiatric care, and specialized psychiatric care for oncology patients.
My approach to care is holistic and collaborative. I am passionate about tailoring treatment to each individual, which may include medication, psychotherapy, lifestyle interventions, and evidenced-based over-the-counter supplements when appropriate. I work alongside you to support your mental well-being and to ensure you feel supported, respected, and free to share your preferences and goals for treatment.
I welcome questions at any point - whether about the intake process, ongoing care, or navigating the mental health care system.
Warmly,
Dr. Anna Sears
